Maxi Spina

Assistant Professor, Woodbury University, Los Angeles.

Maxi Spina is the Founder and Principal of Maxi Spina Architects (MSA), a full architectural design firm based in Los Angeles. The firm’s work has been published and exhibited in numerous journals, including Casabella, Praxis and the Architectural League of NY, among others. Maxi has lectured widely on his work; recent lectures have been at Wash-U, Woodbury, UC Berkeley and the UNR. He has actively collaborated as a designer for Daniel Libeskind and Neil Denari, among others. Maxi has taught at Woodbury University, CCA, the National University of Rosario, and UC Berkeley, where he earned a Maybeck Fellowship in 2007-08.

James Vincent

James Current Research focuses on the integration of building systems leading to an architectural outcome that encompasses ideas of from, material, tectonics and program. Previously James has worked as a Designer at P-a-t-t-e-r-n-s in Los Angeles were he was involved in several distinguished projects such as FYF Residence, The Element and Sunset Art Gallery, Testa & Weiser in Los Angeles and MSInc in Boston. James is currently teaching in the summer jumpstart program at Department of Architecture at UCLA. His classes focus on the deployment of advanced digital tools and techniques.
